1. Coral has a babysitting business that charges $55.20 for four hours. She wants to decrease the price by 3%. What is the new price per two hours? Round to the nearest penny/hundredth.

2. Write an equation that represents the relationship the NEW price in dollars (y) Coral charges for ANY number of babysitting hours (x).

Mini group problems:
1. A scalene triangle has 3 sides that equal 31 inches. The longest side is three times the short side. The medium side is five inches shorter then twice the short side. What are the lengths of each side?

2. A rectangle has a perimeter of 30 inches.  Its length is one less than three times its width.  What are the length and width of the rectangle?

3. Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfall in the United States, is actually made up of three smaller falls.  The Lower Yosemite Falls is 355 feet shorter than the Middle Cascades Falls.  The Upper Yosemite Falls is 80 feet more than twice the Middle Cascades Falls.  If the entire set of waterfalls is 2425 feet long, how tall is each of the smaller waterfalls? 

4. Janessa is four years less than twice the age of Cassie.The sum of both their ages is 20. How old is each person?
